Conde Nast lists Dominica as best island to visit for diving
Roseau, Dominica: Conde Nast, a global media company situated at New York listed Dominica as the best Caribbean island for diving in 2024.  Highlighting diving as the special feature, Conde Nast mentioned the beauty that Dominica holds. It mentioned that the calm waters that surround Dominica make it one of the best diving spots in the world.  There are several of the islands in the Caribbean region that are among the best ones to visit. However, Dominica always stands out of the queue because of its natural beauty and the services it provides to the visitors. The rainbow-colored seascape is the best viewed at Champagne Reef that is named for its bubbling waters generated by volcanic thermal springs that rise from the ocean floor. Having an emphasis on the historical value that country holds, the reefs consist of plummeting cliffs, towering volcanic formations and the remains of a 17th century Spanish shipwreck. Adding to it, the Conde Nast global media casted light on L’ Abym which is a diving site located on the island’s southern tip. It is suited to all skill levels due to Soufriere Bay’s gentle current. At the bay, underwater wonders are visible from 20 feet below the surface right down to a 1500 foot maximum depth.  The length extension of the underwater wall itself gives the site its name. The list as well added a place to stay that is Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski. “It is the smartest place to stay on the island,” mentioned Conde Nast. The resort offers various of the services that can offer great relaxation to the people. These include-
  • A full service spa
  • Four swimming pools
Considerably, it mentioned that it is the lush grounds that incorporate Cabrits National Park and all this makes the spot memorable. Along with Dominica, the Conde Nast casted light on several of the island nations with the specialities these hold. Several of the islands are as follows-
