Trinidad and Tobago: Soca Singer Dexter “Blaxx” battling COVID-19, currently in ICU
Famous Soca music artist Dexter “Blaxx” from Trinidad and Tobago is battling COVID-19. His manager Giselle Gellineau-Penrose said he is in ICU.

As per reports, even in 2020, the Singer had been hospitalized following lung and kidney issues.
Kamla Persad Bissessar- Leader of Opposition, sent out good health wishes to the Singer. She said Blaxx (Dexter Stewart) has brought so much joy to people in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as abroad."My thoughts and prayers go out to soca artist Blaxx as he battles Covid-19. Blaxx (Dexter Stewart) has brought so much joy to so many people here at home and abroad with his exuberant performances and catchy songs. Blaxx, we are all praying for your swift and full recovery so you can get back to doing what you love - singing soca," she further added.
After the news broke down, many people went to social media and prayed for Blaxx. A user named Dave Roopchand wrote, "Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing and hearing your songs again....remember you are hulk,".
Another user named Suruj Aneal wrote, "Hey blax all my prayers wuth you big guy and lets sing"some boy will have yiur gyul tonight get well pal one of the good artist gods blessings,".
