Dominica: Melissa Skerrit appreciates Red Army for significant donation to disabled children

She emphasized that she was extremely pleased to welcome the Red Army as this vibrant group of young professionals who are associated with the Dominica Labour Party are all about giving back to their communities.
Red Army has donated various packages to six recipients and outlining significant donations of the Red Army; Melissa Skerrit noted, "In yet another philanthropic gesture, the Red Army donated packages to six recipients and also presented a stroller to a physically challenged child".
The MP of Roseau further lauded Red Army and underscored that she is really grateful to the Red Army for creating a sense of community and the continued commitment to Dominica.
She also encouraged other young professionals to come on board and join the Red Army in these worthy causes.
The Red Army Foundation highlighted that they have donated to a few individuals from the Roseau Central Constituency in collaboration with MP Melissa Skerrit on Thursday, February 24, 2022.
The Foundation has presented various food hampers and a stroller to a mother with a disabled child and noted, "The presentation was done at the Labour House and consisted of food hampers, & a stroller to a mother with a disabled child".
Red Army is a charitable organization aimed at bringing relief to the needy and vulnerable in our society. It was established in 2013 and is totally dedicated to addressing various matters such as social problems, especially among its worn former members and the youth of South Sudan.The young people made the organization who were once recruited into the SPLA as boys in the early 1980s. Dr John Garang has named the Foundation as Red army as it consists of young boys who also considered child soldiers.
The people in the foundation have been trained as both soldiers and future academics.
