In a shocking incident, a woman in Trinidad and Tobago brutally assaulted her own daughter after she reportedly burned food while cooking.
In a shocking incident, a woman in Trinidad and Tobago brutally assaulted her own daughter after she reportedly burned food while cooking. The abusive mother was granted bail at $25,000 and ordered to stay at a 50-metre distance from her daughter.The woman was charged with two charges of wilful assault on her daughter and presented before Rio Claro Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
The allegations stem from an alleged assault on the woman's teenage daughter for burning food. According to reports, the girl's mother instructed her to make a lunch on November 7th, 2021.
According to authorities, the youngster set fire to the meal, after which her mother allegedly hit her with her fists, injuring her. It was also stated that the mother beat the teen with a Chinese chopper, resulting in harm on a different occasion.
The abusive mother was captured by Cpl. (Ag.) Hazzard of the Eastern Division Child Protection Unit and charged her on December 7th, 2021.
