Two pistols and a stash of ammunition have been found by police in Diego Martin, north-west Trinidad.
The discoveries were made by officers attached to the Western Division Task Force.
According to police, the weapons were found on Wednesday as part of an early afternoon anti-crime exercise.
Officers first visited an abandoned structure in Farm Road, where they found a black Colt pistol with five rounds of ammunition.
They then moved to to Bagatelle, where a second pistol was found in what police described as "a bushy area".
Police were unable to identify the make and model of the second gun.
No arrests have been made in connection with the weapons.
