Jonel Powell- Minister of Education, St Kitts and Nevis
The Ministry of Education at St Kitts and Nevis is making efforts to reduce bullying in educational institutions. Minister Jonel Powell said, "bullying is intolerable and must be stomped out in all forms.

In a press release published on Thursday, the Education Minister invited every person to get on board the anti-bullying train and support the movement to rid schools and society of bullying.

"As a community and nation, we cannot distance ourselves from any effort to help "Stomp Out Bullying" in all forms. There is too much at risk and we cannot distance ourselves from this pervasive ill that has been taken for granted, far too long. " the Education Minister noted.

As Minister of Education, I will ensure that all resources are available to protect our children from bullying, no matter its source.

He said the Ministry of Education will be in the vanguard of the fight against bullying to ensure that our students, teachers, and support staff at all schools can function in safe spaces and an environment conducive to learning.

Together, we must ensure that when our teachers and students leave the safe spaces of their school campuses, no threat of cyberbullying accompanies them. Thus, we also have to monitor the online activities of those who may wish to cause harm.

"We, here at the Ministry of Education, are United Against All Forms of Bullying and Violence", said Jonel Powell.
