Chinese couple shot dead in Jamaica by robbers
Jamaica is experiencing a record high in murders and genocides. On Thursday, two Chinese nations were shot dead in Southfield.

The deceased include a husband and wife duo who operated Jojo’s Supermarket in the area. As per reports, the incident happened late at night while the couple was at working at their supermarket. The assailants are suspected to be robbers.
According to Junction police, three individuals armed with firearms arrived at the institution about 8 p.m. and held the male Chinese national and other shoppers at gunpoint.The gunmen took an undisclosed amount of money from the business and then demanded more cash. When their demands were not granted, the gunmen opened fire on the couple, shooting them many times before fleeing the building in a car.
The husband was killed on the scene, while his spouse was taken to a hospital and admitted in a critical condition. She did, however, succumb to her injuries later.
Jamaica is experiencing a surge in such incidents, making it an unsafe place to reside for both locals and tourists.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness had also declared a state of emergency in some perishes for a few weeks; however, the situation still remains intense, with daily occurrences of killings, making the crime rate higher even during the festival season.
