Dominica displays its rich culture at Dubai Expo 2020 Parade
Dominica participated in the "Colours of the World" Parade on Saturday at the Dubai Expo 2020 and displayed its beautiful culture.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dominica participated in the "Colours of the World" Parade on Saturday at the Dubai Expo 2020. The members of the Dominica pavilion displayed the beautiful culture of their country and waved the flag high at the parade.
The parade at the Expo is carried out regularly; it is a vibrant, colourful moving celebration that features international members, performers and musicians that emits energy and takes a blast of fun.
The official Twitter account of the Dubai Expo 2020 asked people to visit the fascinating Dominica Pavillion; they wrote, "Finishing off the weekend with happy vibes, as we celebrated Dominica in a fun and vibrant parade at Expo 2020 Dubai! Make sure to drop by the Dominica Pavilion when you visit Expo 2020 Dubai."

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dominica Kenneth Darroux stated that participation at the Dubai Expo 2021 is a "Game-changer for Dominica". In a conversation with a middle-eastern news outlet, he said the Pavillion is receiving a great response from visitors.
Dominica is promoting itself as a sustainable, nature-friendly paradise and an island open for investments.

Dubai Expo 2020
Started on 1 October 2021, the Expo will continue for the coming six months and end on 31 March 2022. The daily parade at the Expo is included in the pass; it starts at 12:45 pm and goes on till 1:30 pm.
The Dubai Expo is one of the world's most significant events after the coronavirus pandemic. It was scheduled for October 2020. However, the dates were later changed due to the spike in COVID-19 cases globally. More than 192 countries are currently holding their pavilions at the 4.2 kilometres long Expo. The estimated US $ 6.9 billion are spent to make the event come to life. More than 25 million visitors are expected to attend the event.
