Two young girls die as car collides with truck
Driver of the car remains in a critical condition

A head-on collision on the Castries-Gros Islet highway has left two girls dead and another in a critical condition.
Just before 9pm on Saturday night emergency services were called to attend an incident near the Choc bridge.
The young women, reported to be close friends and college classmates, were travelling in a car and collided with a truck.
Both vehicles were travelling in opposite directions, and the truck overturned.
A number of others at the scene were injured, with their conditions unknown at present.
