St Kitts and Nevis confirms 3 new coronavirus cases
The Caribbean country of St Kitts and Nevis has vaccinated 58.9 % (19,468 individuals) of the population against the coronavirus deadly mutant, according to the report of the Health Ministry of the SKN, till 22 July 2021.

St Kitts and Nevis: The Caribbean country of St Kitts and Nevis has vaccinated 58.9 % (19,468 individuals) of the population against the coronavirus deadly mutant, according to the report of the Health Ministry of the SKN, till 22 July 2021.
The data in the report of the SKN Health Ministry noted that a total of 71.2 % of the St Kitts and Nevis population has got their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of 22 July 2021. In total, 43,003 jabs of the novel coronavirus vaccines have been administered on the sister islands, out of which a total of 33,125 jabs were administered on St Kitts. In comparison, around 9,878 coronavirus doses have been administered on Nevis island.
The twin-islands have reported three new coronavirus cases on 22 July 2021, the total number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus to 560, out of which in total 519 patients have been recovered from the deadly mutant. The island has a total of 38 active coronavirus cases on the island.
Out of 560 confirmed cases, a total of 541 COVID-19 cases are on the St Kitts island, while 19 confirmed COVID-19 cases are on Nevis island.
While a total of three deaths have been reported on the sister island due to the deadly COVID-19 mutant, out of the total COVID-19 tests conducted so far, a total of 24,223 individuals tested negative for the novel coronavirus.
The SKN government has asked its citizens to follow the COVID-19 health protocols and measures such as – wearing masks, frequently sanitizing, maintaining social distance.
Moreover, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Timothy Harris, has also encouraged citizens to take jabs of their coronavirus vaccines as soon as possible in order to fight and defeat the deadly mutant.
