Paris Hilton visited Jamaica to extend her support for the seven US boys who allegedly suffered abuse. These boys were removed from Atlantis Leadership Academy in Treasure Beach, St Elizabeth, owing to possible abuse.

The case came into light during a surprise visit to the facility on the 8th of February, when the officials noticed signs and marks of abuse on the boys and the case was further reported to the police by the Child Protection and Family Service Agency. When the news got publicized by prominent news channels, it was then that Paris Hilton felt extreme compassion for the boys and posted on her social media saying, that she is heartbroken for the survivors as she herself is an abuse survivor. Reportedly, she had been abused at a teen facility. After getting the information Hilton stated that she is doing everything in her power to support the boys. She and her husband arrived at the parish on Wednesday to participate in the court proceedings. Hilton greeted the boys and assured them of her support.

Dawn Post, child welfare attorney has said that Hilton is here to assure the relocation of the boys after their immediate removal from the facility post the signs of abuse.

Answering the question of boys not being immediately sent to New York, Post commented that there is a very lengthy process of ICPC to ensure the safety of the place they are being relocated to. Hence, in her opinion, the Jamaican government is right in its decision to ensure their relocation in a home where they are actually wanted.

The facility is under investigation by the government, the academy advertises itself as a religious school catering to students who were suffering from addiction, mental health issues or unusual behavior in comparison to the typical acceptable behavior in the society.

Amidst the investigation of the case, Randall Cook, Founder of the academy, has denied all the allegations of abuse at the facility.
