DLP's manifesto for 'Dynamic Dominica' launched

The Dominica Labour Party launched its manifesto for upcoming general elections that are to be held on the 6th day of December this year. Proclamation of the party was launched on Thursday evening by the party leader and Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit.  Fifty-nine pages long manifesto named as 'Dynamic Dominica: A new season of development includes the background of Dominica and future of the nation in the hands of Dominica Labour Party. Extreme focus of the proclamation is towards building a Dominica under the administration of DLP. The manifesto aims to conquer the better goals of development in all sectors, mainly education, health, infrastructure and tourism.  New missions are said to be started to eradicate poverty from the island. Dominica Labour Party has also promised to make 5000 new climate-resilient homes. Party reports that in future if any natural catastrophe hits Dominica, all the buildings and homes must stand tall. As per the Dominica Labour Party, they desire to build the economy of Dynamic Dominica with sustainability practices in the areas listed below.  1. Agriculture and fisheries 2. Eco and Nature Isle tourism 3. Kalinago and Creole Cultures 4. Improved Air and Sea access 5. A Digital Economy 6. A Marijuana Industry 7. Entrepreneurship and Small business  The government, under the administration of the Dominica Labour Party recently opened the first phase of Dominica-China friendship hospital with modern amenities. Health remains a significant concern of the party for the future as well.  The party will start a full-fledged National Health Insurance scheme to be initiated by DLP if it the regains power in coming elections. Party will also establish a Dominica Health Services Authority with greater oversight for the superintendence. The national health care system will also be improvised.  DLP will construct Climate-resilient polyclinics at 12 different locations listed below.

As the leader of the party, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit had shared his struggle to attain education, and he said he never want anybody else to face those barriers. So, education is another primary subject in the manifesto. DLP has promised to expand the curriculum of the state college. Also, under the slogan of "Learn Where You Are." e-classrooms and online classes at Dominica State College. To improve teachers system of annual meetings will be set up along with appointing qualified, trained teachers. Party has promised to build several new projects in the country if they achieve power once again in upcoming general elections.  For any Caribbean nation, tourism is the major part of the economy. Dominica Labour Party has given it a massive space under their manifesto. Which is listed below Tourism Goals of DLP :
