Trinidad and Tobago police charges 27 person for violating guidelines
A 24-year-old soldier and a bar owner were among 27 persons who were ticketed for the safe zone, traffic, and face mask violations during an anti-crime.

Trinidad and Tobago: A 24-year-old soldier and a bar owner were among 27 persons who were ticketed for the safe zone, traffic, and face mask violations during an anti-crime, road traffic, and safe zone exercise conducted by Officers of the Southern Division.
The exercise was conducted between the hours of 10 pm and 2 am.
A solider of Bonair Gardens, Arima was ticketed for failing to provide his vaccination card, in a safe zone, while the proprietor was ticketed for allowing an individual into the safe zone without identification.
As the exercise continued, twenty-two individuals were also issued with traffic tickets for traffic offences, while four persons were arrested for driving under the influence, and five persons were issued tickets for not wearing a face mask.
The exercise was coordinated by Snr Supt. Lucia Winchester and supervised by Supt Carty and ASP Ramdass, Sgt. Sankar included officers from the Mon Repos Police Station, Safe Zone Unit, CSI South Photography, and the TTR.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service also reminded the public and businesses that operate as safe zones. Police said they will maintain visibility and presence to prevent breaches and infractions of the law.
