Over US $10 million set aside for COVID-19 relief in Dominica: Roosevelt Skerrit
Prime Minister of Dominica Dr Roosevelt Skerrit returned from his international tour on Saturday and addressed the nation on various issues.

"We have sufficient testing kits, we have sufficient PPE kits, medications to provide, capacity to hire additional staff, we have the resources to provide all the things," said PM Roosevelt Skerrit.
He said that despite receiving testing kits from friendly countries, the government is also purchasing coronavirus testing kits on a larger scale because it doesn't want to rely on partners and friendly nations.
Furthermore, Prime Minister discussed the most awaited "International Airport Project". He said the construction activity at the site would increase by next month.
Discussing more details about the trip, Prime Minister stated that he visited the United Arab Emirates. He said Dominica shares excellent relations with the UAE. PM said the country is also establishing a relationship with Egypt.Besides this, he discussed significant infrastructure projects, including the construction of bridges and more in Dominica
