Dominica becomes only country in OECS to have an MRI machine at a public hospital
A new milestone was added to the health infrastructure of Dominica on Friday when an MRI machine was commissioned at the Dominica-China Friendship Hospital in Roseau.

The Minister of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment, Dr Irving McIntyre, stated that 22 October 2021 will always be remembered as a great day in the history of health care services in Dominica.
He stated the new MRI machine would take diagnostic capabilities at the Dominica China Friendship Hospital (DCFH) to the next level.
Minister stated the commissioning of the MRI machine compliments the services of X-rays fluoroscopy, mammogram and CT Scan available at our imaging department.
