COVID-19: 383 tested for the virus in Dominica, only sixteen results positive

As per the newly released data by the Health Ministry of Commonwealth of Dominica, the country has been handling the coronavirus crisis quite well. The nation has been fortunate to experience zero deaths because of the deadly virus.
Currently, this small Caribbean nation has sixteen positive patients of COVID-19. The health ministry has so far conducted 383 medical examinations of patients with symptoms, out which 367 resulted negative.
Besides this, 152 people are isolated because of coming in contact with contaminated individuals. Furthermore, ten people are in GOCD quarantine.
The government of the country has been vigilant to control the spread of the virus and is still undergoing curfews. The Dominican authorities have introduced several measures to limit the spread of the virus.
A State of Emergency is in place and a 24-hour curfew forced until 11 May with a pass system in operation, available from the Dominica Police.
As per Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit, Dominica is in a more stable condition than most of the country. He stated that all the critical actions are being taken to stop the spread of the virus in the country.
Prime Minister has also advised people to assist their neighbours and elderly in case of any emergency.
The government has restricted people from going out from 6 pm to 6 am and all weekend. During the daytime, people are permitted to get access to buy necessities. Besides supermarkets, medical, gas stations and family support is functioning. Other shops are open from 7 am to 2 pm offering only essential items

Furthermore, medical labs are established to take more tests, and the government has sought the help of Cuban health officials to deal with the COVID-19.
