Weather Forecast: Island chain to face a tropical Wave
a tropical wave in upcoming 24 to 36 hours.

A number of Islands in the Caribbean including Dominica are expected to face a tropical wave in upcoming 24 to 36 hours. As per the information provided by the official meteorological department, a tropical wave is expected to generate an increase in cloudiness with shower activities.
The shower activity could be moderate to heavy at times however it is possible that isolated thunderstorms mainly across the northern portion of the island chains including Dominica may occur during the next 36 hours.
The department has issued an advisory to the people residing in areas prone to flooding and landslides to exercise caution during the night.
Besides this, another tropical wave situated over the Central Tropical Atlantic has moderate chances of development over the upcoming five days.
Showering and thunderstorm activities associated with this wave are projected to begin affected the island chains by late Sunday.
Department has also advised the residents to closely monitor the information on the progress of this tropical wave.
Furthermore, seas are expected slight moderate during the upcoming 24hours with waves peaking near 7.0 feet. However, no such warning is issued by the department so far, but residents are advised to take a follow of the weather forecasts for coming few hours.
