Shocking: A 91-year-old woman raped in Jamaica
A 91-year-old Jamaican Woman was brutally raped on Saturday Night (January 27) in her community of Darliston, Westmoreland.

However, officials have been trying harder to find the suspect. They are also undergoing major investigations by collecting several pieces of evidence from the locals and witnesses.
Dean Watson, Detective Superintendent of Police, has said that his team has been investigating the case and is in the process of identifying the suspect.Meanwhile, the authorities have kept the other related information confidential for security reasons and considering the sensitivity of the matter.
The outrageous incident left everybody in shock, the community members have expressed dismay over the case and prayed for her recovery. They said that the suspect has no right to live after this brutal act.
A Community Resident named Kay Kayla Morris, also identified as the victim's neighbour, claimed that it was not the first time the lady had to face all this. It was the third time this lady had experienced such hostility. "Poor lady, what a trauma and agony she went through. She’s like a child at that age. That person is a heartless scoundrel," she added.Meanwhile, the community members were also seen distressed over the incident and how the women have to face such harsh brutality till the edge of their life, "You all have to get together and craft a law for rapes. He is brutal, violent, devastating, pale, and ruthless. Monstrous, destructive, nasty!" a user said.
Some other people have said that the suspect might not have a stable mind or be dealing with some mental illness. "Something really happened to Pearson, who did it. He can't be sick head in his right frame of mind," a user, Xavier Chin, said."
Other users also bashed the suspect for such a shameful act, "What is this world coming to? It must have been very rough and traumatic for this older citizen. These rapists are both spineless and heartless. I hope the police will find him soon so that justice can be served. This is painfully harsh and wrong," a user noted.
