Virgin Voyages' Valiant Lady cruise ship makes its historic inaugural call to St Kitts on January 26, 2024. The vessel brought over 2500 passengers who disembarked to explore the island.

Minister of Tourism Marsha Henderson expressed her delight at the arrival of Valiant Lady and said that this partnership with Virgin Voyages marks the beginning of a new Chapter.

The arrival is recognised as historic because it is one of the three newest ships in the Virgin Voyages' fleet and offers five stars, 100 percent, adult-only, luxury sailing experience.

Valiant Lady can host 2,770 passengers across its 16 decks. Virgin Voyages cruises are adults only and boast 20 plus restaurants on each vessel while eschewing the buffets and dining halls that are more common on other cruise lines. Other amenities include free WiFi and group fitness classes.

She said that the team is thrilled to welcome Valiant Lady to the breathtaking shores of St Kitts and Nevis. The Minister outlined that the enchanting destination provides natural beauty, vibrant culture and warm hospitality, which ideally complements the exceptional experiences onboard Valiant Lady.

The St Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority also hosted a plaque exchange at Port Zante Pier to honour the captain of the ship.

The cruise is constructed with deep attention to detail and is an architectural masterpiece. It boasts a length of 287 meters and a passenger capacity of around 2770.

According to the information, the ship's exquisite design shows classic luxury cruising with cutting-edge modern features which captivate even the most discerning travellers.

The cruise is making a Caribbean voyage and has visited several nations, including Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago. The trip began with the ship's arrival in Barbados on January 18.

Following its arrival in St Kitts, the Valiant Lady cruise will venture on a thrilling itinerary, exploring various other Caribbean destinations.

The arrival of luxury cruises to the island shows the Tourism Ministry's hard work and their ongoing attempt to get hold of international cruise companies. The island is also anticipating the cruise call of the world's largest ship - Icon of the Seas, which will arrive on January 30.
