Two COVID-19 patients recover in Dominica, PM Roosevelt Skerrit shared statistics
Two coronavirus positive patients have recovered, and the total number of active cases is now 25.

As per the recent statistics provided by the Health Ministry of Commonwealth of Dominica, two coronavirus positive patients have recovered, and the total number of active cases is now 25.
Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit shared the statistics on his official Facebook handle.
So far, forty-three people have recovered while the total number of confirmed coronavirus patients is only 68. No coronavirus related deaths have been recorded in the island nation.
Official statistics by the Health Ministry of Dominica reveals that currently, no contacts of previously identified patients are being investigated and the health officials have cleared 657 contacts. However, there are 50 people in the GOCD quarantine.
The government continues to test people, and 5237 people have been tested through PCR and rapid testing examinations.
Dominica has been experiencing a surge in coronavirus cases after reopening its borders in August. The government have been keeping strict protocols in place, and all arrivals are tested at the ports of entry.
Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit says that the health sector of the country is fully stocked up with all necessities. He added that the government is fully aware of the consequences of reopening borders which is why strict regulations are placed.
