Team St Lucia gearing up for the first ever Robot Olympics
Competition is in Washington DC this month

Preparations for Team St Lucia’s involvement in the inaugural Robot Olympics are ongoing, with the squad constructing and programming their robot.
The competition is being held in Washington DC, USA, from 16-18 July, with one team invited from each country in the world.
More than 160 nations have confirmed their attendance.
St Lucia’s tea, is made up of three A-level students: Shergaun Roserie, Reshul Narhari, Keeghan Patrick.
Loewenvell Polius, a software engineer in the Department of Education, Innovation and Gender Relations, is the team’s aduult technical mentor.
This Olympiad-style international completion is being organised by the First Global with an aim to encourage participation in science, technology, engineering and maths among young people.
First Global is a US-based not-for-profit group.
