St Vincent and the Grenadines themed taxis to run in London, aiming to boost tourism

St Vincent and The Grenadines has proudly launched the latest London Taxi campaign which features ‘Runs & Rhythms’. The campaign began in February with five cabs showcasing SVG branding as they serve individuals through the city.
According to the information, this unique marketing campaign will run for six months and is aimed to increase the island nation’s presence among international travellers.The Tourism Authority of St Vincent and the Grenadines also said that a few years have passed since the last campaign and with a sensational summer ahead, it is an ideal time for Vincy vibes to be visible in the city. Last time, the campaign ran in 2018 following which it was paused since the government launched it again in February 2024.
The St Vincent and the Grenadines branded taxis is wrapped in colourful pictures showing the island and its carnival. As the passengers will sit in the branded taxi, they will see the world cup fixtures on the screen along with the flight information from London to the island nation. The Authority also wants to attract people to the island for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup T20 games in June. “Cricket enthusiasts are encouraged to visit SVG's 32 islands and cays to enjoy the ICC Cricket World Cup T20 games during June and stay to experience 'the hottest carnival' in the Caribbean - Vincy Mas,” outlined the authority.
It is to be noted that the Arnos Vale Stadium in St Vincent will be hosting the three group matches on June 14 and 14 and two super 8 matches on June 22 and 24. Additionally, on the heels of exciting game days is the culmination of Vincy Mas activities from June 28th-July 9th.
Visitors from the United Kingdom have the option to travel on Virgin Atlantic’s thrice weekly flights through London’s Heathrow Airport to SVG’s Argyle International Airport.Latest
