St Kitts: Police investigating shooting incident in Sandy Point

Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Sandy Point in which no one was injured.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 09. Preliminary investigations have revealed that a man got into his motor omnibus at about 5:45 a.m. when he heard several loud bangs. He drove home and when he exited the vehicle, he observed what appeared to be bullet holes in the bus. The Police were called and the scene was processed by members of the Crime Scene Unit. Items of evidential value were taken into Police custody. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.

The Police are appealing to anyone who might have information in relation to this incident to call the Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) at 467-1887, 467-1888, or 662-3468, their nearest Police Station or the crime hotline at 707.
