St Kitts and Nevis: A 24-year-old man was shot dead at Upper College Street in Basseterre on Sunday afternoon around 3 PM. He was approached by two assailants who were in a vehicle and opened fire in his direction. The victim sustained multiple gunshots on his body and was pronounced dead at the scene. As per the reports, the 24-year-old is identified as Jimmy Allen of Upper College Street. He was passing down the street when the two unknown men, occupying a two-wheeler, arrived at the scene and began shooting in his direction. However, the authorities have investigated the matter and are working closely to identify the suspects involved. The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the crime scene and collected some items of evidential value. They have also contacted the local communities and eyewitnesses. Meanwhile, the authorities have also assured them to be kept abreast of the developments made in the case. They have extended their sincere condolences to the families and near ones of the deceased and those who are negatively affected by the incident. The authorities have also appealed them to reach out to them at earliest anyone have any information about this or any other criminal incident found. With this, another incident has been recorded in the list of St Kitts and Nevis in early 2024. The last incident was recorded to the list on January 21, and the authorities are investigating the matter closely. The incident has left the users on social media with several mixed reactions. Some users were seen expressing their sadness and dismay and extending their condolences to the deceased close ones. Others appealed to the authorities, asking for strict actions and bringing desired justice to the victim. "Justice must come regardless of how long it takes.
