SIDS4 to take place in Antigua and Barbuda, aims at addressing critical issues

Antigua and Barbuda: The 4th edition of International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) is all set to mark its presence at the shore of Antigua and Barbuda. Several of the events under this have been announced that would bring out the insights to this.

SIDS4 aims at having discussions on multiple crises. These include climate change, economical and social repercussions of COVID-19, and a crisis of debt.

Several of the events scheduled under this are from May 24 to May 29, will take place at St. John’s Antigua and Barbuda. The list to this is-

• SIDS4 Gender Equality Forum (May 25 to 26, 2024)
• SIDS4 Global Business Network Forum (May 25 to 26, 2024)
• SIDS4 Private Sector Roundtable (May 28, 2024)
• SIDS4 Civil Society Forum (May 29, 2024)

Under the conference on Small Island Developing States, there will be great involvement of various groups that will ensure results of the conference. The United Nations is strongly committed towards supporting the islands for their resilience and sustainability.
