Saint Lucia Jazz Festival tickets flying off the shelves: Reports

Saint Lucia is witnessing a major surge in ticket sales as excitement builds up for the upcoming Jazz & Arts Festival 2024. This year, the festival is all set to take place from April 30 to May 12, 2024.
Geraine Lona Georges, the Public Relations Manager at the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has expressed delight at the growing interest from both locals and tourists alike and said that so far that has been going very well this year.She outlined, "What we're proud of is that we're weeks ahead of where we were last year and, we're seeing the uptick, we're seeing the interest from the foreign regions because of course, we can view where the ticket sales are coming from."
Georges added that the team is very excited about that and is looking forward to welcoming a huge number of visitors from across the world.She added that the festival is known for its world class performers and is poised to present an impressive lineup comprising of both local and international artists. Georges noted that last year, the festival attracted over 10000 visitors.Notably, this year, the premium experience at the Mindoo Phillip Park is priced at USD140 while the Jazz Ultra Premium Experience on May 10, 11 and 12 promises to be very exciting, with the tickets costing 220 USD (food and drinks inclusive, all amenities included).
The Public Relations Manager also gave a hint about the forthcoming announcements regarding the finalization of an exciting lineup."We have quite a few Saint Lucians, and it really speaks to the talent that we have right here on the island, and it's also an opportunity for them to showcase their talent on the world stage," she noted.
Georges also revealed that 26 media personnel from various regions, including Trinidad, Tobago, and Canada, will be arriving to cover the festivals as preparations progress for the upcoming festival.
It is to be noted that this year's festival is going to be very exciting, with live performances from world-renowned artists, including Air Supply Music, Davido, Samara Joy, and more.
