Dr Timothy Harris, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, addressed the nation on the radio to convey his Christmas message to inhabitants and diaspora.
In his address, Prime Minister of SKN stated that Christmas is the time of year where friends and families come together and celebrate the joy of their lives.
"As we go about our busy lives, too often we get distracted, caught up in events and our daily tasks. Christmas allows us to take a step back and find peace with our friends, our families and within ourselves" added PM Timothy Harris.
He further added that peace is exceptionally significant in one's life. With harmony, we become more aware of the community around us, and we become attuned to the relationships we have. We free ourselves to pursue our hopes and dreams for a better life actively.
"This Christmas let's review our lives and our decisions to decide if they are in sync with the future we want for our country's children".
While speaking of the future of children, PM Harris talked about the teachings that we must surpass to our future generations.
"Values such as caring, citizenship, self-discipline, faith, family, honesty, industry, responsibility, and service are indeed important."
He stated that the future of a child success is firmly based upon a 'simple dream'.
As per PM Harris, his administration is committed to implementing policies wholly designed to give opportunities to young and old.
"We have done this in Housing and with our Small Business Development initiatives like our flourishing Fresh Start Programme and our Small Business Development Centre administered by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce," added Prime Minister Timothy Harris.
