Brantley told everyone the slots were limited and said, "We can only accommodate 30 persons. So please, if you're interested, registration opens on the 5th of February. It closes on the 23rd. After we get to 30, we're going to have to close off."

He also said that Jeffers is and has had many roles in various movies and also played some roles on television. He added, "You might recognize some of the programs she has been on, including The Young and The Residence."

"And so, we think that Juliet Jeffers is eminently qualified to lead our taste of Hollywood master class in acting," said Mark Brantley.

Mark Brantley also highlighted the workshop's importance and said, "This is important, because it is the next evolution." He said that he is not just talking about people coming in and making a movie and then leaving but also talking about having skill sets developed locally.

"Who knows? The next Cicely Tyson might be listening to me right now," noted the Premier while encouraging everyone to participate.

In addition to this, he also expressed his gratitude to the Four Seasons Resort Nevis, which is one of the main sponsors of this event, the Nevis Cultural and Development Foundation and the Nevis Tourism Authority.

What will be covered during these master classes?

During the master classes, attendees can look forward to learning about the basics of acting, Improvisation, character development, scene study, memorization techniques, and on-camera audition techniques.

From these acting classes, the aim of the organizers is to prepare the people for those who already have the acting bug, because they got small parts in the MSR movies that were filmed in Nevis. During the press conference, Premier Mark Brantley said that he himself was interested as the memorization techniques are of interest to him because he said, "I saw one script for one of the films that was being done here, and a part that involved, I think, just two speaking, engagements and I wondered how on earth anybody could memorize all of that that they had to say."

He added that the workshop will give individuals a good opportunity and a window into the world of films.
