Nevis is all set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Culturama Festival with a huge number of exciting activities taking place from July 25 to August 6, 2024.

The Festival Committee will be hosting the core activities while several other events will be hosted by private organisations on the island.

During a press conference held on January 25, the committee launched the official Core Calendar of Activities with events taking place between April 12 to August 6. The committee said that this is just the first wave of events revealed with several more to be announced soon.

Notably, "Core activities" are those that the Culturama Committee is responsible for. The other activities that some persons lean toward are "fringe events". Those have to be submitted by private promoters/organisers and approved by the committee to form part of the lineup.

Nevis Culturama Festival is recognised as the most important in the Island’s history. The Carnival is celebrated over 12 days with celebrations beginning much earlier.  [caption id="attachment_67010" align="aligncenter" width="1068"] Nevis 50th Culturama Festival 2024[/caption] This Nevis Tourism Authority will celebrate the festival's Golden Jubilee under the theme, “Celebrating Culture, Embracing History, Its Culturama 50.”  The Festival will bring visitors together from across the region, who will immerse and engage themselves in the blend of activities along with the deep-rooted culture and heritage of the nation.
