Man shot dead in Ottley’s Village, St Kitts

Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit are looking into a shooting in the early hours of this morning that left one man dead.
The incident was reported to police just before 1am.
The victim has been named as 26-year-old Kishorne Edwards, originally from Cayon.
“Investigations revealed that the victim was shot by an unknown assailant, or assailants, while driving his vehicle in the vicinity of the water tank in Ottley’s,” said the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force in a statement.
The investigation is ongoing.
WINN FM has interviewed a number of people who were apparently at the scene before police arrived, who described the killing as “a brutal ambush”. A black BMW, allegedly the victim's car, had “dozens” of bullet holes across it, and shells appeared to have come from at least three different types of weapon, WINN FM reported.Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is invited to come forward and share it with police.
