Heavy rain cuts off Lodge Project from Lodge Village
The village of Lodge was cut off from Lodge Project as a result of a landslide on Sunday morning.
A passing tropical wave dumped heavy rain on St Kitts and Nevis overnight and into mid-morning.
The soil became unstable causing a tree to fall from the hillside unto that stretch of the main road leading from Lodge Project to Lodge Village bringing traffic to a halt for a few hours.
Workmen have been removing the debris to restore traffic.
A west moving tropical wave has resulted in increased shower activity over St Kitts and Nevis.
