Guyana welcomes newest centenarian, Lorip Mc Donald
Georgetown, Guyana: Oldest Citizen Lorip Mc Donald spreads joy in the community on completing the 100 years of his life on Friday.

He believes in being the best of himself and has a motto towards his life, 'If you have something to do, do it to the best of your ability.'Considering the earlier and evolving phase of his life, Donald has spent his professional life working to serve people under the Ministry of Public Works in Guyana.On successfully hitting the 100th Birthday on Friday, the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security and the Georgetown constituency citizens extended their happiness, paid warm regards and welcomed Donald as the latest Century Club member.While honouring and welcoming him, the Ministry reflected upon his various aspects of life and shared some glimpses from his birthday celebrations on their social media handle on Saturday (January 6).Meanwhile, social media got filled with lots of wishes and numerous reactions from the social media communities. Several People on social media extended their happiness and warm blessings to him on his Birthday. They also congratulated him and prayed for his longer life.One user, Lynda Yarde, mentioned in a comment section, "Happy 100th birth anniversary, Mac!" another user, identified as Velva Cluadia, pouring heartfelt wishings, said, "Congratulations.
