Dominica to welcome over 8000 passengers as two giant ships to dock on Monday

With the arrival of MV AIDAdiva and MCS Seaside simultaneously, Dominica will welcome over 8000 cruise passengers

Commonwealth of Dominica is all set to welcome whopping 8,000 cruise ship passengers on a single day as two giant ships to dock at the ports on Monday. Two ships, including MV AIDAdiva and MCS Seaside will be docking simultaneously on 29 January, 2024.

As per information, the first cruise, MV AIDdiva, will dock on the shores of Dominica at Roseau Cruise Ship Berth, carrying over 3,256  passengers. Meanwhile, the other Cruise, MSC Seaside, will bring around 5,000 cruise passengers including crew to the Woodbridge Bay Port.

The passengers will encounter some of the greatest adventures during this cruise journey. They will experience a series of fun-filled activities and a cosy environment with perfect world-class accommodation in an all-inclusive travel package.

Once reached, the passenger will also experience the warmness of Dominica's black sandy beaches and enjoy a relaxing session in the middle of its naturalistic bounties.

These cruise ships arrived with carrying around 144,786 visitors. Out of these, around 102,640 passengers disembarked to explore and around 58,309 participated in the organised tours and camps. Apart from these, the island has also welcomed various inaugural visits from other distinguished vessels, including MSC Explora 1, MV Carnival Venezia, Le Bellot, MV Marella Voyager, MS Vista, MS Borealis, MV Celebrity Beyond, SY Sea Cloud Spirit, MV Aida Mar, MV Costa Fortuna and MV Azzurra.

The statistics show the Dominica Tourism Authority's commitment to providing and expanding its services by offering friendly tours in an affordable package to tourists worldwide.

Further, it also provides facilities related to knowledgeable tour operators, friendly taxi drivers, enthusiastic vendors, and experienced tour guides to ensure that every moment spent on the island is cherished and memorable.

The Discover Dominica authority is dedicated to contributing to the visitors by assuring and guaranteeing a safe and enjoyable visit for all cruise visitors.

Notably, per the previous week-long schedule launched by the Dominica Tourism Authority from January 22 to January 28, the small island of Dominica is also expected to receive around nine cruise ships to its shores. These cruise ships will carry about 9000 visitors from across the world.
