Dominica: Investigation underway after body found in Roseau
Police name 39-year-old man
Police in Dominica are investigating the circumstances of a death in the capital city, Roseau.
The body of Cerilo Alwin Raffique Chance was discovered yesterday inside a property in Castle Street.
Mr Chance was 39 years old, police told WIC News.According to local sources, a "disgusting stench" alerted neighbours, who contacted police officers.
"About 8am on the 12th of September 2017, the police responded to information which led to the discovery," said Pelham Jno Baptiste, the police press relations officer.
"The body was examined and official pronounced dead by a medical doctor."
An inquest will be convened into the death.
