DLP will launch its manifesto on November 14

The Dominica Labour Party is all set to launch its election manifesto in Dominica on coming Thursday, November 14. The event will take place at Playing Field of Mahaut constituency at 7 pm.
As the general elections of Commonwealth of Dominica are scheduled to take place on December 6, Dominica Labour Party is being seen as the front runner in the upcoming elections. It is evident if the party makes a win in the upcoming elections there will be a lot of development and public welfare programmes for the general public.
The international airport is the current major project which can be promised by the Labour party in its manifesto as a number of 5-star hotels are opened and soon opening in Dominica. International Airport with broad amenities will provide safe passage to the tourists travelling to Dominica.
Prime Minister, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit had said in one of his recent events that the government now has money to build an international airport in Dominica, which will provide an ease to citizens on the island and abroad.
An announcement for Geothermal Project can also be made through the manifesto by Dominica Labour Party. Nevertheless, Dominica Labour Party is in power from the past two decades, during their tenure country was hit by two major natural catastrophes which nearly destroyed 90% of the island. Working tirelessly, the party managed to bring back development even when the GDP had fallen to around 300%.
Party is expected to make major announcements for the public through their manifesto. Currently, government being administrated by DLP has successfully managed to give free houses to people who were living without a roof on their heads.
Construction of a new Marigot Hospital, education reforms, better infrastructure, and new projects are expected to be part of the manifesto which is scheduled to be presented on November 14.
Newly built Dominica-China friendship hospital’s next advance phase will also get a space in their manifesto.
Dominica Labour Party has a great emphasis on education, and the government is already managing to provide free primary and college education to students. Furthermore, new schools, colleges and medical as well engineering institutions are expected to be some of the foremost in the manifesto.
