“Children’s Medical Fund is open to all citizens of St Kitts and Nevis,” reminds PM Drew
St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew gave a gentle reminder to the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis that the Children’s Medical Fund is open to everyone. The fund which was established in May 2022 seeks to help needy families with the medical assistance for their children. Through a Facebook post PM Drew gave the reminder and said, “I just received a call from a parent seeking assistance for their child from the children’s medical fund. A gentle reminder that the program is open to all citizens, both in St. Kitts and Nevis.”

He also added that people just need to submit the referral from the doctor following they can contact his office for the assistance.

The Prime Minister assured all the citizens that he want to help as many children of St Kitts and Nevis as possible. He also added that a number of the island nation’s beloved children have already benefitted and are thankfully alive today. “No longer do parents have to depend on sponsor sheets to determine if their child lives or dies. I will continue to donate a portion of my salary towards charitable causes for the benefit of those in need,” outlined Dr Drew while reiterating his promise to assist the children of the nation.

Notably, the Prime Minister aims to help families who want to take their children abroad for serious medical procedures and provides them with the required funds. He has been working diligently to serve and improve the lives of his constituents.

In addition to this, the citizens and residents of the twin island nation also lauded the PM for this kind gesture and for constantly reminding everyone to apply for the Children’s Medical Fund.
