Antigua police capture Swetes murder suspect
Delano Forbes had been wanted since last week

Police in Antigua have tracked down the main suspect in the murder of Swetes man Wilfred “Bongo” Williams.
WIC News understands that Forbes was captured during an operation yesterday morning.Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department and the Rapid Response Unit are believed to have been involved.
Williams, a taxi driver and father of five, disappeared on 9 December after last being seen leaving his home.
The missing person investigation soon turned into a murder inquiry after Williams’ body was discovered just days later.It was slumped inside a latrine, with the door nailed shut.
Wounds suggest he had been killed with a sharp instrument.
Suspect Forbes had only recently been released from prison after being convicted of breaking in to a home of a police officer, according to state media.
