Dy PM Hilaire invites entrepreneurs to join 45th Independence Business Expo 2024

Saint Lucia is gearing up to launch its 45th Independence Business Expo 2024 on Friday, February 16th and Saturday, February 17th at Constitution Park and the William Peter Boulevard.

Deputy Prime Minister Ernest Hilaire made the official announcement of the event via a Facebook post, shared earlier on Wednesday. He encouraged the communities and invited them to demonstrate their highly creative and Entrepreneurial skills at the grand stage of 2024 Business Expo.

“The Saint Lucia Business Expo/ Independence Village is BACK!!  This is YOUR chance to shine on the grand stage, connect with like-minded innovators, and elevate your brand to new heights,” he noted.

According to the information, the event will begin from 10 AM onwards on Friday and from 9 AM onwards on Saturday. It will be hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development, Cooperatives and consumer affairs and Expo Saint Lucia.

It is a part of the nation’s 45th Independence Celebrations, which is hosted under the theme, “Douvan Ansanm Building a Nation through Unity, Resilience and Creativity”. This business Expo, spanned over diverse sectors, which will present a wide array of offers and talents, ranging from handmade crafts to wellness products.

As per the Sunita Daniel, the CEO of the Saint Lucia Expert, this National Business Expo is supportive platform that celebrates the richness of Saint Lucian entrepreneurship. This event is not only a showcase of the nation’s vibrant business community but also an opportunity for local businesses to connect with a broader market. She further also highlighted that this Independence 45 edition will bring a distinctive experience to showcase. It will innovate with a village-style setup, featuring designated areas for Manufacturing, Health and Wellness, Creatives, and Services.

Notably, the Business Expo 2024 will feature beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s brainchild, the Youth Economy Agency, the MSME Grant- Loan Facility and Clients of Export Saint Lucia. Some of the organisations which are set to participate at the event include, Suzy Designs for presenting varieties crochet jewellery and accessory pieces to compliment the Independence outfit of the visitors.

Helen’s daughter will be presenting their amazing collection of brands/items at their booths include: Farm Her Mary’s soaps, Farm Her Jane’s wellness products, Farm Her Sina’s assorted products and Farm Her Patricia’s produce etc.
