Antigua and Barbuda: PM Gaston Browne gets back to work right after returning from US
Prime Minister Gaston Browne returned to Antigua and Barbuda after participating in the 9th Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, California.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne returned to Antigua and Barbuda after participating in the 9th Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, California. Soon after returning to the country, he assumed office and started his regular duties.
Upon arrival, PM Browne received a courtesy visit by three (3) West Indian cricketers and the management of Cricket West Indies. Their visit came ahead of the West Indies Vs Bangladesh test match cricket to be held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium from June 16th-20th.
Prime Minister Browne used the opportunity to offer some words of encouragement and support to the players as they were preparing for the highly anticipated test match.
Besides this, Prime Minister Gaston Browne, directly upon his return from the Summit of the Americas, visited the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, St. John's, to pay consideration to the late Jorge Mera, Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources. He expressed condolences to both Ambassador Raquel Jacobo, the Government and the people of the Dominican Republic on the tragic loss of their statesman.
Later, he also accepted an invitation for a tour of the Glanvilles Secondary School, where music students got the opportunity to place their talent on display. The students sang songs to showcase their talent.
