Indian children’s publisher wins London Book Fair award

Chennai-based Karadi Tales, which distributes picturebooks and book recordings for kids, has won the Audiobook Publisher of the Year grant at the London Book Fair Awards 2020, which occurred online after the coronavirus episode dropped the occasion.

Coordinators said on Tuesday that judges praised Karadi Tales on its "firm business centre around their future online methodology, and proceeded with devotion to both teaching and engaging youngsters in India." The distributer was shortlisted in three classes.

The prizes have been presented on the victors, the coordinators included.

LBF executive Jacks Thomas stated: "The International Excellence Awards consistently help us to remember the inventive, significant and moving work being finished by each one of those in the worldwide distributing and book network".

"From interpreters in India and curators in Finland to abstract celebrations in Ukraine and scholarly operators in France, this entertainment pageant the expansiveness of ability working in the business around the globe today".

The Lifetime Achievement Award was introduced to Nigel Newton, originator and CEO of Bloomsbury Publishing, for his commitment to the book business, distributing universal top-rated works by Khaled Hosseini, Margaret Atwood, J K Rowling and William Dalrymple.
