Iceland confirms first case of new coronavirus

Iceland on Friday affirmed the new coronavirus had arrived at the subarctic island after a man in his forties, who had as of late came back from an outing to northern Italy, tried positive for COVID-19.

The man was set in separation at the National University Hospital of Iceland, after a test affirmed the new coronavirus around 1 pm neighborhood time (1300 GMT), Iceland's branch of Civil Protection and Emergency Management said in an announcement.
