'Cheapened Importance of Very Ugly Word': Trump Writes to Speaker Pelosi to Stop Impeachment

US President Donald Trump in a searing letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to stop denunciation procedures against him by the lower council of the Congress, which is good to go to begin the process with a discussion on Wednesday.

"This prosecution speaks to phenomenal and unlawful maltreatment of intensity by Democrat officials, unmatched in almost more than two centuries of the American administrative history," Trump said in a letter to the Pelosi.

"You have ruined the significance of the monstrous word, reprimand," said Trump, who is the third American president to be summoned.

Trump said he had been denied of essential protected fair treatment from the earliest starting point of this "denunciation trick" until the present.

"I have been denied the most central rights managed by the constitution, including the privilege to show proof, to have my guidance present, to stand up to informers, and to call and interview observers, similar to the alleged informant who began this whole trick with a bogus report of the telephone consider that bears no relationship to the genuine telephone call that was made," he said.
