The Buccoo Reef set sail from Trinidad for Tobago on its first commercial journey from today (Friday 04 June, 2021).

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley toured the Buccoo Reef at the Port of Port of Spain before the vessel departed. He was joined by Vice President of Nigel De Freitas, Minister of Works and Transport, Rohan Sinanan, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young and Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Senator the Hon Randall Mitchell.

This Buccoo Reef can travel at a top speed of 45.3 knots and is expected to make the journey in approximately three hours.
