High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago Arun Kumar Sahu handed over 40,000 Astra Zeneca Covid-19 vaccines to Trinidad and Tobago's government.Vaccines landed on a special flight at Piarco International Airport Tuesday night.
Ministry of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs said the delivery further increases the longstanding connections between the Governments and people of both countries.

Now, the game of credits is on; the opposition of Trinidad and Tobago says the vaccines arrived because of the efforts of UNC leader Kamla Persad Bissessar. The opposition leader had written a letter to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to procure vaccines for Trinidad and Tobago.
