More than 19,000 students are appearing for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) exam in Trinidad and Tobago today (March 31, 2022).

More than 19,000 students are appearing for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) exam in Trinidad and Tobago today (March 31, 2022). It is the third time the SEA has been held since the Covid-19 pandemic started in 2020.
Prime Minister Keith Rowley wished good luck to all students; he also shared a video on his Facebook featuring cricketers Joshua Da Silva, Jayden Seales, and Samuel Badree, who offered advice to kids.
Minister of Health Terrance Deyalsingh also sent out best wishes to children as they appear for the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) on Thursday morning.
"Best Wishes to our Children as they sit their sea examination. Remember that you are loved by your parents, teachers, and most of all by Jesus Christ. Say your prayers have breakfast, and go do your best. This is not the end of the world but a beginning of possibilities for you," said Minister Deyalsingh.
As per the Ministry of Education, in total, 9,904 boys and 9,294 girls will appear for the exam at 8.30 a.m. at schools across Trinidad and Tobago. The examination is being carried out with Covid-19 protocols in place. All schools are finally opening to a proper face-to-face session from April 19.
More than 3,400 principals, teachers, and testers are on duty for the timely and managed conduct of the examination.
