Trinbago Knight Riders have announced Sandeep Lamichhane as their team member for Caribbean Premier League 2021. The announcement was at 2:00 am local time on CPL 2021's official Twitter account.  Sandeep Lamichhane, a Nepalese professional cricketer, stated that he is absolutely thrilled to be part of the Knight Riders family. He also thanked Jamaica Tallawaha's for giving him a similar opportunity in CPL 2020. "Absolutely thrilled to be a part of #KnightRiders family and look forward to playing for the champions team  @TKRiders . This is going to be an awesome ride. I am grateful to  @JAMTallawahs for the opportunity last year. #2FIVE #JaiNepal #TKR #TrinidadAndTobago  @sayacorps" Tweeted Sandeep Lamichhane. 20-year-old Lamichhane is from South Asian country Nepal, where he plays for the national team. He did his ODI debut in 2018 against the Netherlands.   Sandeep Lamichhane made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against the West Indies, representing a World XI side. He became the first cricketer to earn a T20 international debut serving a combined team.[2] He was one of the 11 cricketers to play in Nepal's first One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018.

The Caribbean Premier League 2021 will be played at the Windsor Stadium in St Kitts and Nevis from August 28 onwards. The final match will be played in September.
