Everyone over the age of 18 must be given to right to have a duty-free vehicle in SKN says Former PM Dr Douglas

Former Prime Minister and leader of opposition St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil L. Douglas addressed the nation through his weekly 'Ask the leader' broadcast on 'KYSS 106.FM'.
Dr Douglas, who is also the leader of the SKN Labour party, discussed the top highlights of 2019. The political pioneer stated that 2019 was an important year of his life where is celebrated the 30th anniversary of his public office journey which started way back in 1989.
Furthermore, he discussed the significant for being in opposition for five years and stated that he was thankful for being in opposition because of the things he got to learn from it, "I thank God for these five years in opposition, mainly because they have brought lessons that I have tried my best to learn for the renewal." added Leader.
The leader added that during this period, it was important to reflect the mistakes that the Labour party might have made in the past and this will be put into the benefits of people of St Kitts and Nevis and new dispensation after the general elections 2020. "Whatever happens in life is led by the almighty God."
Besides this, Dr Douglas discussed the future plans of SKN Labour Party and stated that Labour is always holding the back of young people and the party believes that anyone over the age of eighteen must be allowed to get their first vehicle 'duty-free'.
"Our young people have a right to aspire themselves, and I stand to what we said we would do, and it is the right thing to do, every young person, as well as every person in the country over 18 years, must be given the right to have a duty-free vehicle if that is his or her wish."
As per Dr Denzil Douglas, the government must assist them in doing so, and such priveledges should not just be limited to government officials or ministers common citizens must be allowed to have a duty-free vehicle too.
