Saudis ban Muslim pilgrimage in Mecca over coronavirus fears

Saudi Arabia has restricted residents and inhabitants from playing out the Muslim journey in Mecca over feelings of dread about new infection.
The declaration went ahead of the state-run Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday, citing an anonymous Interior Ministry official reporting the boycott.
It gave no time allotment for to what extent the suspension will stand.
A week ago, Saudi Arabia stopped the holiest locals in Islam to outside travellers over the coronavirus. That disturbed travel for a large number of Muslims previously made a beeline for the realm and conceivably influencing plans in the not so distant future for millions increasingly in front of the fasting month of Ramadan and the yearly hajj journey.
