The incident Wednesday was the 232nd shooting in which an average of four people have been shot in the US so far this year, according to a version of the Gun Violence Archive, because another community was left behind to grasp violence that struck near the home.
The killings in San Jose are the latest in a wave of shootings that have hit essential workers in the US, who tried to stay safe during the Covid-19 pandemic but were still killed in major acts of violence.According to Deputy Attorney Russell Davis of the Santa Clara County Sheriff, investigators, like other previous cases, are investigating the motive of the gunman.
One thing that has become clear is that 'the victims and all the colleagues knew the shooter well,' Mayor Sam Liccardo told media.
