Royal Caribbean's restart plans in 2021 have hit again, as a second ship cancels its entire summer season. The cruise lines' 2021 Vision of the Seas summer season from Bermuda is now officially cancelled. This affects the departure of Vision of the Seas Bermuda between June 26 - August 28 2021. In an email, Royal Caribbean said that the past few weeks had been 'turbulent', and that 'recent talks' had led to a promising move for the cruise industry and that it was the necessary step to get Royal Caribbean back. Those travelling on cancelled voyages have some compensation choices: 125% Future Cruise Credit: 125% Future Cruise Credit (FCC), based on the total cruise fare paid per guest and will be automatically issued on or before June 18, 2021. Taxes and fees, as well as all pre-purchased facilities or packages to the board, will be automatically refunded to the original payment method within 45 days from the cancellation date. Full Refund: Refunds the amount paid per guest when you select this option on or before June 30 2021. Guests can expect their refund within 45 days from the date of cancellation to the original means of payment. The vision of the Seas is the second Royal Caribbean cruise ship to cancel its entire summer 2021 restart season after Odyssey of the Seas cancelled its voyages from Israel. The vision of the Seas was planning to sail from Bermuda and offer a seven-night cruise to Perfect Day at CocoCay. The announcement now leaves only three ships with fixed plans for the summer of 2021: Adventure of the Seas from the Bahamas, Anthem of the Seas from England and Jewel of the Seas from Cyprus.  In an email sent to guests, Royal Caribbean said: "our guests have reached out to us in overwhelming numbers to let us know that they are awaiting our U.S. debut."
